Your Rights
Limits on Deletion
Tax records are subject to retention obligations. Where we are required to retain information to comply with a legal obligation, to complete a matter you engaged us for, or to defend a legal claim, we may be unable to delete it. If that applies to your request, we will tell you which exception applies and delete whatever falls outside it.
How to Make a Request

We will verify your identity before acting on a request, which for tax records means confirming details only the taxpayer or an authorized representative would hold. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.
We respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes the CCPA requires — generally within 45 days, with an extension where permitted and notified to you.
